Hello people, fellow lovers of entertainment, captivating ones... And if you're not one it's better you start being so now...
O yes, it's “AbujaGist" and this is coming from no other than the brain behind this entertainment hub as I know many have been wondering who really is behind the screen, infact I've gotten a dozen emails to this effect.
So I think it's about time I let y'all into my world. My name is Okokon Joseph
Close friends call me Jhoey.  I am a graduate of Geology and Mining from  Nasarawa State University, Keffi (Nsuk) but a writer at heart.
 Reading, Playing chess, meeting people, and ofcourse writing to get you entertained are some of the things I enjoy doing at my leisure time.

Aunty Toke Wants Our Daughters And Sisters To Try One Night stand At least In Their 20's

I'd decided to drop my pen for sometime now but this buzz Toke Makinwa's Vlog created yesterday on the Internet sphere got me scampering for my pen once again. I've found it and #AmBack and in full force, Lolxx!!

So yesterday aunty Toke Makinwa formerly married to Maje Ayida took to twitter to react to criticisms over a video titled 20's vs 30's she posted on her vlog back in July.
Una no even ask me wetin she talk were make people criticize am, I go still tell una dat one shaa!!!
Aunty Toke back in July in one of her Vlog post had advised girls in their twenties to get tattoos, have one night stands, live life and have fun while they are young among other things.

Rappers The Game And Snoop Dogg Pictured Leading A Peaceful Match To LAPD Headquarters

Rappers Snoop Dogg and The Game were pictured in a peaceful match to the graduation ceremony of new Los Angeles Police recruits. The two rappers arrived at the  LAPD headquarters where they had a private meeting with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti Police Chief Charlie Beck and other top police official while the graduation ceremony of new LAPD recruits was going on.

Snoop Dogg at the ceremony said The point of the march was to reintroduce the Police Department to members of the community it serves:

A Federal High Court in Lagos today granted Femi Fani-Kayode bail in the sum of N250m.
The former Minister of Aviation has been in custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for alleged fraud of over N4.9bn.

Unpaid Ghana Teachers Vow To Storm Finance Ministry With Eggs & Schnapps

A group of aggrieved Ghana teachers has threatened to invoke curses on personnel of the Controller and Accountant Generals Department (CAGD) over failure to expedite action in the release of their salary arrears.
The group calling itself Victims of Three months’ Salary Arrears Payment Policy (V3MAPP) threatened to bring eggs and shnapps to invoke curses on those in power sitting on their monies.

26-year-old Ngozichukwu Philomina who died after she and two other youth corp members serving in Akwa-Ibom state were involved in a car crash that left her burnt to death has been buried.
She was buried amidst tears today in her home town at Umuofor Nnarambia Ahiara in Imo state.

ECOWAS Court Adjourns Dasuki's Detention Judgment Indefinitely

The Economic Community of West African States, (ECOWAS) Community Court of Justice today adjourned indefinitely the case of former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd) against the Federal Government.

The former National Security Adviser had challenged his detention by government since December 2015 in the custody of the Department of the State Security Service (DSS).

Ogah Receives INEC Certificate Of Return As Abia Governor

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Abia state  who came second at the 2015 general elections has received return certificate from the Independent National Electoral Commission following Monday’s sack of Okezie Ikpeazu, by a federal high court sitting in Abuja.
Justice Okon Abang, giving judgment on a suit filed by Ogah, agreed with the plaintiff that Ikpeazu evaded tax prior to his election, and as such was‎ not qualified to hold an elective office.

Former Foreign Affairs Minister, Ojo Maduekwe Dies

Nigeria Former Minister of Foreign Affairs Ojo Maduekwe is dead.
Mr Maduekwe who was appointed Foreign Minister of Nigeria on July 26, 2007 by President Umaru Yar’Adua died aged 71.
The one time Minister of Transport was returning from Dubai where he had gone for one of his sons graduation when he slumped at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja but was certified dead at the hospital.

Abuja High Court Sacks Ali Modu Sheriff as PDP Chairman

Embattled national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ali Modu Sheriff has been removed by a high court sitting in Abuja
The court sitting presided over by Justice Valentine Ashi, on Wednesday ordered Ali Sheriff to vacate the seat as acting chairman with immediate effect faulting the process through which he emerged the party’s national chairman.

Alleged Abuja Bombing Mastermind,Charles Okah Escapes From Kuje Prison

Charles Okah who allegedly masterminded the Abuja independence day bombing in 2010 has reportedly escaped from prison custody.
Okah alongside another inmate was said to have scaled the Kuje prison walls around 7.30 pm on Friday, June 24.
According to Sahara Reporters, Okah, scaled the prison walls around 7.30 pm on Friday.
